Seed from plant growing as a low epiphyte in a thick mangrove forest at sea level. The forest is on the east edge of Mullins Harbor in Orangerie Bay, Milne Bay Province, Papua New Guinea.
Plant is from the simplex subgroup, but is not simplex, nor radicans. Most likely H. normale, kejense or albertisii. Will need mature plant to formally ID.
