Angiosperm Phylogeny Tree

This page is a starting point for exploring the EEB Greenhouse Collections phylogenetically. Using the tree diagram shown on the right, click on the desired order to get a sublisting of families included in that order (whether we have accessions of that family or not) as well as a linked listing of accessions currently held in the living collections and a listing of current desiderata items for those families.

The diagram is modified from a diagram developed by the Angiosperm Phylogeny Website at Missouri Botanic Garden. (Used with permission of the author). We highly recommend the APG website as a source of in depth discussion of the APG II classification scheme. Clicking on the MoBot logo on the following pages will open up the appropriate APG webpage in a separate window.

NOTE: The EEB Greenhouse database conversion from Cronquist to APG likely has some erroneous information - please bear with us and feel free to email comments/corrections on these pages and the site in general to the facility manager.
