Description: This very frost-hardy New Zealand creeper has wide, rounded, deep green leaves with roughly serrated edges. In spring white starry flowers with purple veins appear in the leaf axils, followed in fall (autumn) by globular, reddish purple fruit. This species tolerates full sun and enjoys damp soil.
Culture: Ranging from very frost hardy to frost hardy, these plants generally enjoy damp but porous soil, total sun or part-shade and protection from the elements. Water liberally during the growth period and sparingly in winter.
