  • Country of Origin: Northern Australia, Queensland, New South Wales

  • Description: Brachychiton rupestris grows as a succulent tree reaching 10–20 metres though plants in cultivation are usually shorter.2

    Brachychiton rupestris has been recorded as a host plant for the mistletoe species Dendrophthoe glabrescens.2

    Originally acquired as 'unidentified caudiciform'.  
    Was initially thought to be B. cf. discolor, but now appears more likely to be B. cf. rupestris, though this is also merely a cursory identification.
