Habitat: grow primarily on cliffs or rock faces in full sun
Description: A natural hybrid of kingianum X D. tarberi. The first collection of Dendrobium x delicatum was at Spring Bluff near Toowoomba, Queensland in 1884. This species is epiphytic, favouring littoral rainforest, subtropical rainforest, warm temperate rainforest, dry rainforest, wet sclerophyll forests, dry sclerophyll forests, and rocky crevices and scree.
Culture: Plant can grow from cool to warm temperatures and medium amounts of light. Keep plant moist and fertilize during growth season. During fall keep plant dry and withhold water until new shoots appear in the spring. Lightly mist plant during dormancy to prevent pseudo bulbs from shriveling. Grow in a well drained mix of sphagnum moss or medium fir bark. Plant can also be mounted. 3
