Dendrobium lichenastrum Rupp

- Habitat: growing on boulders in creeks
- Culture: A hot to cool growing, miniature epiphytic species from Queensland Australian in open forests and dense rainforests at elevations of 0 to 1950 meters with branching rhizomes covered in sheathing bracts carrying alternate, prostrate, thick, fleshy, ovate-oblong, obovate or circular leaves. The main bloom season is in the fall but it can flower at any time of the year on a very short to 3/4" [1.5 cm], raceme beneath a leaf with a single musky scented flower and a brighter winter rest is required with some water but no fertilizer.
